Marissa Day

Marissa graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and graduated from East Carolina University in 2015 with a Master of Business Administration degree. She has been with Grit since 2017 and finds herself working as an integrator making sure all the departments are flowing together. With a competitive athlete background, taking the team approach is in her blood. Outside of work she dedicates her time to her two sons, husband, and human-sized German Shepherd. She also grew up with three sisters, one of which works at Grit. Can you guess who it is?

Lori Mahaffey joined Grit in July 2019 as a Project Leader. Her attention to detail and putting the customers first, she was transitioned to Project Leader Supervisor Role. She performs other HR administrative duties along with providing IT Support. Her attention to detail, eagerness to learn and always willing to help others when needed, make her a great addition to the Grit team. Outside of work, she enjoys playing golf and spending her time with family and her 2 granddaughters.

Project Leader

Kyle is originally from Easton, PA. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA in 2001. He joined the Grit team in 2009 and has worked in production, shipping/receiving, and customer relations settings during his 15+ years with the company. He believes in honesty first with clients and always strives to be a solutions provider. In his off time, he enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with his wife and two sons, and podcasting.

I was born and raised in Williamsport, PA. I attended Lock Haven University where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design. After working several years in the shipping industry, my journey in Print began in 2004 where I worked as a typographer and freelance designer at a local book and library supply company. Then I worked at a local printer as prepress technician and designer. In 2016 I joined the Grit team working in customer service as a project leader. I always seek to provide clients with solutions and strive to be an excellent communicator. Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing and venturing out into the wilderness with my family and our dog, Clementine.

Caitlyn came to Grit in 2021 with a background in restaurant management and a major desire to learn something new. Her previous experience has equipped her with problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task. She has always had a strong passion for customer service. Caitlyn is dedicated to learning as much as she can about the print industry to better serve our customers. She's had the opportunity at Grit to learn digital prepress, operating the digital press, and processing mail lists which has enabled her to offer more value to her clients in her Project Leader role. During her free time, you'll find her reading a good book, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets.

Michael Bischof

Michael Bischof is sales and solution provider with Grit.  Mike has been in the industry as a designer of print, purchaser of print, or seller of print for over 35 years.  Mike’s goal is to become a trusted partner of our customers by recommending solutions that help their projects become realized in the most efficient and economical way possible.  Mike holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Art degree with an emphasis on traditional printing and engraving from Penn State University.  When not working, Mike enjoys fly fishing with his 13-year old son and spending time with friends and family.

Territory Account Manager

After competing in Division 1 Soccer and graduating with a BS in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science, I found my way to Grit. I joined Grit in 2019, bringing my high energy and a new perspective to sales in the printing industry. Covering the markets of Philadelphia and the New Jersey/New York area, I thrive on building relationships with partners who share our commitment to core values. Whether in the office or out in the field, I'm dedicated to being a solution provider and delivering value to our clients. When I'm not immersed in the world of sales, you'll find me cherishing time with my family and two energetic German Shepherds.

Josh is the Sales Manager; He has been tasked with growing the sales team and working with them to develop a reimagined customer experience.  He is focused on building customer relationships to produce sustainable growth for the future here at Grit. Josh joined Grit back in 2023, he has a background in eCommerce Sales as well as having spent time running a Family Business.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hofstra University as well as a Master’s Degree from Bloomsburg University.  In a previous life, he spent time playing Professional and Division 1 Baseball as well as some time Coaching.  In his free time, he can be found spending time with his family, hunting, golfing, and coaching his kids’ sports teams.

Territory Account Manager

Jordan is originally from Williamsport PA. He attended Pennsylvania College of Technology majoring in Business Administration. He came to Grit in 2021 after a sales and management career outside of the printing industry. As the Shipping & Receiving manager, Jordan learned the printing industry from the ground up at Grit. In 2023, Jordan transitioned into a Territory Account Manager and is building on an already strong client base. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf as much as possible. Watching sports, taking bike rides and fishing.

Territory Account Manager

Jason is a Territorial Manager at Grit, Before coming to Grit he was an owner operator at The Print Shoppe in Williamsport, PA (a 42 year old printing company). Jason was responsible for the company's sales and operations, including end to end management of sales activities, chain supply, service and support. Along with being a trusted partner in the print industry his goal is to play a key role in the continued development of design and fulfillment in an increasingly demanding marketplace. Jason enjoys spending time with friends and family when he’s not working.

Plant Supervisor

Bill is from Cogan Station Pennsylvania. I have worked in printing for 24 years. I started on 3rd shift doing cleanup and Maintenance on our Heidelberg SM102 5-color press. Eventually I ended up on 2nd shift as a shift supervisor. During my time at Grit, I have learned to run all our production equipment including but not limited to cutters, folders, saddle stitcher and our Heidelberg SM102 press. My time running production equipment and being a supervisor has given me a very good understanding of how production works and what it takes to produce work quickly and efficiently. Ultimately this had led me to my current position at Grit as the production manager overseeing all aspects of our production processes.  One of the main focuses of my job is to help exceed customer expectations by providing a quality product in a timely manner. Another aspect is to help keep building a great team that is highly motivated because  we make sure they always feel valued.

Pressroom

Since he began his career 40 years ago at Pompco Graphics in Philadelphia, Rick Stryker has dedicated himself to the craft of printing. He was the recipient of the 2007 Neographics Pressman of the Year award, and not only is a GATF certified pressman, but also trains and certifies all of Grit’s pressman. Rick leads by example and takes great pride in setting high standards and expectations for himself and all of Grit’s staff.  In his 30 years at Grit, these high standards have translated into one of cleanest pressrooms you will ever visit.

Offset Prepress Technician / Mail Specialist

Emily graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design in 2020. Emily previously worked for an advertising agency while also freelancing since she was 17 years old. Emily joined the Grit team in 2023 and has been able to integrate her design experience into her current role in the prepress department. In her free time you can find Emily spending time with her cats on her jean couch – or as she likes to call it, the “jouch”.

After spending over a decade in cosmetology, including owning her own hair salon, Brittany transitioned to the world of print at Grit. Starting in the business office, she quickly discovered her passion for print and progressed to roles in the prepress department and as a digital press operator. Her experience in cosmetology has equipped her with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, skillfully managing multiple tasks while upholding an eye for quality control. In her leisure time, Brittany can often be found immersed in a good book, spending time with her two sons, or exploring local music with her husband.

Halle received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration of Management from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2023 and has been serving in the United States Army Reserves since 2017. She joined Grit in 2023 working in the front office handling accounting, purchasing, and answering the phones. Halle prioritizes being polite and respectful to customers and fellow team members alike. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her husband and their two dogs, with their family and friends, or at the gym.
